Visa Exempt Entry Checklist

Documents for Thailand visa exempt entry. Requirements for visa-free 60-day arrival for eligible nationalities.

What to Prepare

Update pending: Thailand's Cabinet approved ending the 60-day visa exemption on 19 May 2026. Most nationalities will return to 30 days per visit once the Royal Gazette publishes. Full details.

Visa exempt entry allows eligible nationals to enter Thailand for up to 60 days without a visa (currently, pending the return to 30 days after Royal Gazette publication). You can only enter visa-exempt twice per calendar year. The first entry is not extendable; the second entry can be extended by 30 days at immigration. This checklist covers the key requirements for visa-exempt arrival.
